Tony spontaneously took Valentina and me with him to his appointment at the Vatican Mosaic Studio yesterday, and Valentina not only received her own private, first-time tour there, but came away with materials for her own mosaic project. Can't wait to see how she transforms these stones and glass into a work of art!
